NovoFi® asphalt fibres can be used for all asphalt surfaces, e.g. surface courses made from asphalt concrete, SMA and open-pore asphalt (low-noise surfaces) as well as for binders and asphalt base courses.

The NovoFi® asphalt fibre is added to the mixture when mixing in the asphalt mixer.

NovoFi® is a synthetic mix of fibres of aramid (carbon) and polypropylene fibres, approx. 19 mm in length, used as three-dimensional reinforcement in binder and/ or surface courses in asphalt road building.
